Fancy Text Generator
Turn plain text into stylish Unicode fonts — bold, italic, script, bubble and more — to copy into Instagram, WhatsApp and bios.
About the Fancy Text Generator
This fancy text generator transforms ordinary letters into stylish Unicode "fonts" you can copy and paste anywhere — Instagram bios and captions, WhatsApp messages, TikTok, Discord, Twitter/X names and more. Type once and see your text rendered live in more than a dozen styles: bold serif, italic, script, double-struck, fraktur, monospace, circled letters, fullwidth vaporwave text, small caps and squared letters.
These are not real fonts. Each style uses special Unicode characters — for example the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block — that look like styled letters but travel as plain text. That is why they survive copy-paste into apps that normally strip formatting: the styling is baked into the characters themselves, so your bio or username keeps its look on any modern phone or computer.
Every style row has its own copy button, so grabbing your favourite takes one click. Letters A–Z, a–z and digits 0–9 are converted where the Unicode style supports them; everything else, including emoji and punctuation, passes through unchanged.
How to Use the Fancy Text Generator
- 1Type your text in the input field.
- 2Scroll the list to preview it in every Unicode style.
- 3Click Copy next to the style you like.
- 4Paste it into Instagram, WhatsApp, Discord or any app.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get fancy fonts on Instagram?
Type your text into the generator, pick a style such as bold serif or script, click Copy and paste it straight into your Instagram bio, caption or comments. Because the characters are standard Unicode rather than a font file, Instagram accepts them anywhere plain text is allowed and they display identically to your followers.
Why does fancy text work when pasted into apps?
Each styled letter is a real Unicode character with its own code point — 𝐀 (bold A) is a different character from A. Apps that strip formatting only remove styling metadata like bold tags; they keep the characters themselves. Since the style lives in the character, it survives copy-paste into bios, usernames, messages and documents.
Will fancy text display correctly on all devices?
On modern iPhones, Android phones, Windows, macOS and Linux the common styles display correctly. Very old devices or unusual system fonts may show empty boxes for rarer styles like squared or fraktur letters. If your audience skews older devices, bold serif, fullwidth and circled styles have the widest support.
Is fancy text bad for accessibility or SEO?
Screen readers often read mathematical Unicode letters character by character or skip them, so avoid fancy text for essential information — keep it decorative. Search engines index the underlying code points, not the letters they resemble, so fancy text in headings or page copy will not match normal keyword searches.
Can I convert numbers as well as letters?
Yes, where Unicode provides them. Bold serif, double-struck, monospace, sans-serif bold, fullwidth and circled styles include digits 0–9 and convert them automatically. Styles without official digit variants, such as script or fraktur, keep your numbers as normal digits so the text remains readable.
