N-Up PDF

Print multiple PDF pages per sheet free — arrange 2, 4 or 6 pages on each A4 page in a neat grid to save paper. Private, in your browser.

About the N-Up PDF

Fit several PDF pages onto each printed sheet. Choose 2-up (side by side on landscape A4), 4-up (a 2 × 2 grid) or 6-up (2 × 3), and every source page is scaled to fit its cell while keeping its aspect ratio. Add a small gap between pages to keep things readable.

N-up layouts are great for handouts, slide thumbnails, proofreading a document at a glance, or simply saving paper and ink when you print. The output is a real PDF, so it prints sharply on any printer.

Pages are arranged on your device with pdf-lib — nothing is uploaded, and there are no watermarks or limits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 2-up, 4-up and 6-up mean?

It's the number of original pages placed on each output sheet: 2-up puts two pages side by side on a landscape A4, 4-up arranges four in a 2 × 2 grid, and 6-up fits six in a 2 × 3 grid on portrait A4. More pages per sheet means smaller pages.

Are the pages resized to fit?

Yes. Each source page is scaled down to fit its grid cell while preserving its aspect ratio and centred within the cell, so nothing is stretched or cropped.

Is this the same as making a booklet?

No. N-up simply tiles pages in reading order to save paper. If you want pages re-ordered for folding and stapling into a booklet, use the PDF Booklet Maker instead, which handles saddle-stitch imposition.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The layout is built entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your file stays private.
