Invoice Generator

Create a professional PDF invoice free — line items, tax and discount, ₹ $ € £ currencies, clean A4 layout. No sign-up, made in your browser.

About the Invoice Generator

Create a clean, professional PDF invoice in a couple of minutes — no account, no template downloads and no software. Fill in your details and your client's, add line items with quantity and rate, set tax and discount percentages, and the totals calculate live. One click produces a neatly formatted A4 invoice ready to email.

It is built for freelancers, consultants and small businesses that need to bill occasionally without paying for invoicing software. Choose your currency — Indian Rupee, US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, UAE Dirham or Pakistani Rupee — number the invoice your own way, set a due date, and add notes for payment terms or bank details.

The PDF is generated entirely in your browser, so client names, rates and amounts never touch a server. The layout is deliberately classic: a bold header with invoice number and dates, from/to blocks, a ruled items table, right-aligned totals and your notes at the bottom.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a free invoice as a freelancer?

Enter your name and address, your client's details, and one line per piece of work with its rate — the subtotal, tax and grand total compute automatically. Click Download Invoice PDF and email the file to your client. It is genuinely free: no trial, no watermark, no account, and you can generate as many invoices as you need.

Can I add GST or VAT to the invoice?

Yes. Enter your tax rate in the Tax % field — 18 for standard Indian GST, 20 for UK VAT, or any other rate — and it is applied to the subtotal after any discount, shown as its own line in the totals block. Mention your GSTIN or VAT registration number in the notes field so it prints on the invoice.

Which currencies does the invoice generator support?

Six common ones: Indian Rupee (₹), US Dollar ($), Euro (€), British Pound (£), UAE Dirham (AED) and Pakistani Rupee (PKR). Amounts are grouped in the style that matches the currency — Indian lakh/crore grouping for INR, thousands grouping for the rest — both on screen and in the generated PDF.

Is my client's billing information uploaded anywhere?

No. The entire invoice — every name, address, rate and total — is assembled into a PDF on your own device using an open-source PDF library. Nothing is transmitted, stored or logged on any server, which keeps confidential client rates and business volumes private.

What should an invoice legally include?

Most jurisdictions expect: both parties' names and addresses, a unique invoice number, issue date, a clear description of goods or services with amounts, any tax charged, and the total due. Payment terms and a due date are strongly recommended. This generator covers all of these; add registration numbers like GSTIN in the notes if your country requires them.

Can I edit an invoice after downloading it?

The downloaded PDF is a finished document, but regenerating is instant: your entries stay in the form while the page is open, so fix the detail and click download again. For repeat billing, keep a browser tab pinned or save your standard details in a note — you'll produce the next invoice in under a minute.
